Photographer and creative director Katja Kat is based in Paris and Athens, she is originally Russian and Greek, from Athens, Greece, she has a BA in Fine Arts painting and photography from the university of Westminster, London.
Starting out as a painter and art photographer in London, in the past 10 years she works as a fashion photographer. Living and working primary in Paris, France for the past 7 years she also works in London, Berlin, Milan, Moscow and Athens. In her photography she enjoys mixing art with fashion, keeping the classic photography techniques and at the same time creating innovative, artistic imagery. Katja focuses on editorials, agency tests, lookbooks for designers, e-shops, private clients, S\she also does private lessons in photography and new models photoshoot coaching.
Katja has variety of art projects in progress, preparing a Shibari fine art exhibition and also has a series of fine art prints for sale.
In 2019 she created a new print art publication artPLAY magazine sold in selected stores in Paris and internationally and is now the editor in chief of artPLAY magazine www.artplaymagazine.com
From 2022 Katja is also working on a project in Athens, Greece called Vijion studio www.vijionstudio.com it is a commercial, e-shop and product photography studio that creates concepts for brands and does professional photoshoots of various products.
